The Royal Canadian Riding Academy (RCRA) is a renowned equestrian facility with a rich history spanning many years. The RCRA started out as a small facility with just one indoor arena but has since grown to include over 250 stalls, 3 Olympic sized outdoor rings, a full outdoor Dressage ring, and a total of 3 indoor arenas for multi-discipline riding. Located in the heart of the “Golden Horseshoe”, the RCRA is easily accessible from the 404, just past Kennedy on Davis Drive. Whether you’re a seasoned rider or a beginner, the Royal Canadian Riding Academy offers something for everyone.
Being a premier all-season facility in Canada, we have hosted several prestigious events over the years. In 1985, the facility hosted the North American Young Riders Championships (also known as the NAJYRC) in Dressage, Show Jumping and 3 Day Eventing. In 1986 the World Dressage Championships for the first time ever were held outside of Europe at our facility. During the same year, this facility also hosted the World Cup Jumper competition and Olympic Qualifiers.
